She's Here!

Paige Linell Ogden made her debut at 12:02 on Friday, November 26th. She was 6 lbs. 7 oz. and 18 1/2 in. I was able to pig out for Thanksgiving and was induced the next morning. The delivery went amazingly well.

We got the best room in the hospital with the best view. Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We are so lucky to have the friends and family that we do.

(Sorry if this doesn't work but this is Paige's first introduction to her older brother.)

Peace!

Good news from the ultrasound today. Our little girl is small at 5 lbs 7 oz right now but she grew enough in the past four weeks that I won't have to be induced for at least two more weeks. My official due date is December 2 and the plan is to get me to 39 weeks and reevaluate being induced then which is Thanksgiving. We got to spend Christmas in the hospital with Cade so it wouldn't surprise me if we carry on with the holiday tradition. Here she is just chilling and giving us the peace sign or smoking something. I am so glad everything looks good and now I have a few more weeks to enjoy sleeping through the night. Thank you for your prayers and love!

Halloween and a Pregnancy Update

I tried to get creative at the ward pumpkin carving activity.

Cade had fun at the Stake Primary Halloween Party. There was a kid dressed as Elmo that he chased around the gym. That poor kid didn't understand Cade's love of Elmo. It was very entertaining!

My last second attempt at a costume.

Our little quarterback.

This pumpkin was a volunteer in one of our flower beds that I am in charge of watering. I watched it grow for months and I think it turned out really pretty. I know I couldn't have grown it if I actually planted it and tried. If I feel extra ambitious one day it may become pie, but I doubt I will find the energy/desire.

So I am 36 weeks this week. Baby is measuring really small just like Cade so they have been suspecting Inter Uterine Growth Delay (IUGD) which means I've had weekly Non Stress Tests for a while and today my fluid measured low. My body just does not like being pregnant and I can't blame it. It gave up at the end with Cade and the same thing is happening with this one. I have a followup ultrasound with the specialist on Monday and we will know a lot more then but most likely I will have to be induced soonish. We are hoping to make it to 38 weeks. But baby looks healthy besides measuring small and we are packing our bags in anticipation. All I can say is, epidural here I come!
