Introducing.... Cade Ogden

This is our new little arrival. We're pretty sure we're going to name him Cade but haven't decided on a middle name yet, so stay tuned for more posts. He came into this world on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:20 PM. He weighed a whopping 5 pounds 8 ounces and was 18 and a half inches long.
This picture showed up sideways for some reason so you'll have to tilt your head to see him.
Here he is with his dad.
This was Jennifer's first opportunity to hold him. She was so tired.
And here he is in his new BYU hat. He'll have to grow into it.

He seems to be healthy and well for now. We'll post more stuff later.

Clay's Birthday Bash

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband yesterday. He is now a whole two dozen! I'm not looking forward to next year because then I have to buy two packages of candles since they come in 24-packs. So high maintenance. To celebrate, we had a Christmas/Ugly Sweater/White Elephant/Football/Birthday party on Saturday. Thanks Amber for the ugly sweaters. We looked pretty hot!

This year I decided to be brave and attempted to make Clay a cool cake. I was inspired by the Las Vegas Bowl we watched that night. It didn't turn out too bad, though the goal posts started melting when we put all those candles on it.

Clay with a few of his presents. I think he's going to wear his Seinfeld shirt the whole break! And I am pretty proud of the personalized mug I designed which was inspired by the "Customer Survey" episode of The Office. Thanks for marrying me Clay and I hope you had a very happy birthday!

Gobble 'til you wobble!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Yes, I started this post a while ago and never finished it. I apologize. I had to finish it so I could post the next one! So here it is: Clay and I are very blessed and we are grateful for the support of our many family friends through the years. We were lucky to be able to visit both families over the holiday. We first went to Salmon, ID to visit my Grandma Bills. We followed tradition and went hunting for a Christmas tree. It looked great wrapped in a sheet and tied to the top of our car all the way back to Provo.

I tried to blend in with nature and Clay got hungry hiking around!

Here's all of us kids. I can't wait until my fat belly and cheeks are gone!

Next, we got to go to Blackfoot and play with Clay's family. It got pretty wild when we broke out the Wii Fit and started hula hooping! I didn't know Clay was so graceful. Thanksgiving was wonderful and we ate so much food the whole week that we did have to wobble around! Thanks everyone for the good times and fun memories.
