This is our new little arrival. We're pretty sure we're going to name him Cade but haven't decided on a middle name yet, so stay tuned for more posts. He came into this world on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:20 PM. He weighed a whopping 5 pounds 8 ounces and was 18 and a half inches long.
This picture showed up sideways for some reason so you'll have to tilt your head to see him.

This was Jennifer's first opportunity to hold him. She was so tired. 
And here he is in his new BYU hat. He'll have to grow into it.He seems to be healthy and well for now. We'll post more stuff later.

Congratulations - we're so proud of you both - well, maybe a little more proud of Jenn since she had to do all the work. He is adorable. A good mix of both of you. Can't wait to see him and hold him this weekend.
He's so beautiful...I can hardly keep back the tears!!! I wish we were there to hold him. Welcome to the family, Cade. We sure love you!
Oh Jenn, congratulations. What a wonderful Christmas gift for you guys. He's a little early, right? Glad to see he's healthy and that you made it through, too!

A late birthday present/early Christmas present! How exciting! I talked to your mom just before she left. Hope that recovery goes well and Cade fattens up. :) That picture of mom and baby made me tear up. It's so beautiful. You two will be great parents!

Congrats! I was actually just thinking of you guys on our drive home today trying to remember when you were due. What a wonderful day to be born on (and I should know)! I'm sure you know but it's also Joseph Smith's b-day (that's what my brother wanted to name me). :) I'm glad to share a birthday with such a little cutie!! Way to go Jenn (& Clay)!
CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting, it seems like that day would never come (at least it did for me). He is such a beautiful little boy (Trav hates when I call boys beautiful so for his sake he is such a handsome little man)!
