Child Labor

We are busy getting ready for our new little girl. I am 35 weeks today and grateful to have made it this far. We can't wait to meet her. Ready or not here she comes!

A Quick Post

Cade just woke up and I am playing the "how long can I leave my child in his crib before I feel guilty" game. I'm getting really good at it. So this will be quick.

Cade's latest modern art project.

My new niece Ellie. She makes me so excited to have a little girl.

Cade and his girlfriend Adelle. They are the only two kids in nursery so they are best buds.

Lately I have just loved how many times Cade makes me laugh in one day. I guess you have to laugh sometimes so you don't cry.

We just bought Cade a white shirt and tie like Daddy's for Sunday and he loves it. I thought it would last for about two seconds, but he's kept it on really well. There have been some requests for pregnant belly pictures so check back if you want to see me with a 30 week gut!

Last Days of Summer

Cade now lives on the coffee table watching "Elmo's Adventures in Grouchland" as many times as he can in one day.

Coloring is also a new favorite hobby.

Our ward campout was fun until Cade had to go to sleep. That didn't really happen.

Don't steal Cade's idea for a new baby fashion trend.

Yes, the only picture we have from going to the zoo is this kid's sweet mullet thanks to Clay. Enjoy.

Life isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn good. I am surviving pregnancy and we are going through the fun process of applying to physical therapy schools. So if any one has any advice about applying let us know. We can use all the help we can get!

Summer Fun

I love summer! We bought Cade a pool with a little slide and he loves it.

Cade strutting his stuff in his new Elmo shorts.

Washing the car has been a new favorite family activity.

We went to Blackfoot for a weekend and Clay added the stairs to the playhouse for his parents. All the grandkids love it!

We went to the Oregon coast for a week with my family.

Cade loved all the sand and water.

My pregnancy on the beach model pose.

Cleaning off the sand.

We hit all the hot spots in Tillamook including the Tillamook Cheese Factory (yum!) and of course the Tillamook Sporting Goods store.

We also went crabbing.

Clay and Carl's Jr. We only caught one that was big enough, but they cooked up right there for us and we got a taste of fresh crab. This week we are off to Clay's family reunion.
Oh and P.S. we are having a little girl in December!

Summer is Finally Here!

So summer didn't really start until the first week of June this year and we took full advantage. Here is Cade with three pairs of shorts on asking me to put on a fourth. Can't be too prepared.

And he is ready to go hit some trails on his new four wheeler.

Cade has always been such a good helper. He followed me all over the house pushing this picture frame around behind me like a vacuum.

We went to the Hogle Zoo and Cade loved looking at all the animals and all the shoulder rides from grandpa.

Thanks Mom, Dad and Michael for a fun Memorial Day weekend!

Life is Good

I felt this accurately represents our life. House a mess, Seinfeld on in the background, with Cade making us laugh.

We discovered a new way to get Cade to hold still while I cut his hair. Clay just sprays him with the spraybottle so he holds still for a second, I make a cut, then he laughs and we repeat. We are such great parents.

Life is always exciting for us with Cade around.
What did we do for entertainment before him?

On April 27th, we celebrated the big 3! We were able to go through a session at the Salt Lake temple. It was my first time there and I think everyone needs to go. Thanks Mom for watching Cade so we could have a nice day away. And thank you Clay for sticking with me. I love my man...

and this little guy.

Even when he leaves me presents like this.
Life is good if that's what you are looking for.
