Summer is over for us now and we are back in school, but we did manage to find some time to play before hitting the books. We had plans to go to Yellow Pine for a week, but the fires didn't allow it. Luckily we were able to find other fun stuff to fill our week instead.
We just happened to decide to start out our vacation at Lagoon on 2 for 1 day. Ahh, the blessings of tithing. We had a great time, and were able to hit the water park and all the rides we wanted before the rain ran us out. Jenn even got a nice nap on one of the benches after lunch!
We ended up in Idaho Falls and were able to spend a few days with Jenn's family. We went biking with her parents at Herriman State Park. It was a sweet ride! Almost as sweet as Jenn's new Specialized Rockhopper (handlebars shown at the left of the picture). Clay managed to work his way up "Heart Attack Hill" while Jenn tackled "Coronary Bypass."
The only thing that got us to the top of the hill was knowing that there was a Big Judd waiting for us on the other side.
On Saturday, we went four-wheeling on the Mackay Mines trail. Even Jenn's brother, Michael, was able to come with us and drive a 4-wheeler for the first time. He probably had the most fun of all and was sure to mention that he would be available to go the next time anyone went. We had fun with all the family. Thanks moms and dads for the fun filled, much needed summer vacation!

Wow - look at you guys! Nice update on the Clay and Jenn blog. I hope you'll have time to keep us up to date on all your fun times, like football games, taking blood, etc. Nice pictures - and thanks for letting us share in your little summer vacation.
P.S. I think the Yellow Pine fires are finally under control.
Holy Cow!! You have an update! Way to go, guys. What a fun summer. Sure beats the nasty camping trips dotting ours.
